Customize Windows’ Send To Menu | Print |  E-mail

One of the lesser known windows features is the Send To option in the Explorer menu. It allows you to right-click on the file and choose send to, which will open the file with an app, create a shortcut on the desktop, or copy it to another folder or drive. Click more to see how to customize this menu to meet your needs.

If you have several folders, or several applications that you prefer to use for files, why not add these destinations to your ‘Send To’ menu. Add shortcuts to these applications in the “SendTo” folder. The “SendTo” folder is located in the C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\ folder. You may need to set the options to show hidden and protected operating-system files (Go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View - from a Windows explorer window).

When it’s done you can simply pipe any object into your favorite application. Or write it to you favorite folder, or USB location, or whatever location strikes your fancy!
